With a career spanning nearly five decades, George Rose has built an extraordinary legacy in photography, capturing moments in music, film, news, politics, sports, and wine culture. From his early years as a Los Angeles-based photojournalist to his transition into the wine industry, his work has left an indelible mark on the world of visual storytelling.
Career Highlights:
Entertainment Photography & The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
- Served as a staff photographer for the LA Times during the ’70s and ’80s, focusing on the entertainment industry.
- Over 40 of his vintage prints are part of the permanent collection at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.

- From 1982-1996, he was a sideline photographer for the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders.
