You can submit up to three photos in each of five categories:

Recreation & Activities
People in Parks
California History
Each category winner will receive a complimentary California State Parks Foundation membership, including a California Explorer Vehicle Day Use Annual Pass valued at $195, and have their winning photo featured in our 2028 calendar.
Entries are free and open to all ages. Images of national parks and other locations outside the boundaries of California’s state parks are not eligible for this contest.
