SUMMARY:iPhone Photography
DESCRIPTION:Chuck Place will give a presentation to the club on iPhone photography in person at Valle Verde. \nIf the best camera is the one you have with you\, the iPhone camera is that beloved appendage never far from hand.  Besides being insanely convenient\, iPhones have gotten really good. You can shoot in RAW for large file size\, and you’re always working with the phone’s sophisticated built-in AI software that helps you get the best shots in all sorts of challenging situations\, and especially in tricky and low lighting. \nChuck Place is currently teaching a sold-out\, standing-room-only adult-ed class through SBCC on iPhone photography that lasts for 6 weeks.  So you can believe that Chuck’s 60 minute presentation on May 19 will only scratch the surface of what he knows about the many ways to use your iPhone to get great photos.  Some of the highlights will be the use of different focal length lenses\, file formats\, shallow depth of field portrait mode\, night mode and panoramic image functions.  And of course\, Chuck will be available to answer questions! \nChuck Place is well known to Camera Club members as a long time judge and local teacher\,  whose work is visible in many publications and in six books of his images.  Chuck has really come to appreciate his iPhone camera and says “you’ll find it’s a great camera that just happens to have a phone built in.”\nWe look forward to seeing you for Chuck’s presentation.

DESCRIPTION:Description: With over 8000 acres\, including seven miles of shoreline\, Montaña de Oro State Park is one of the largest state parks in California. Spectacular views\, fresh breezes\, and the sound of the pounding surf add up to invigorating\, memorable visits. The park’s name\, “Mountain of Gold\,” comes from the golden wildflowers that bloom in spring.
